Contact form submissions aren't coming through to my gmail, how do I stop them going into spam?

Google and other email providers are are increasingly turning up filters in an effort to combat spam. If you are using gmail, there is a good chance contact form submissions may go into spam. This can easily be fixed by adding a Filters and blocked addresses rule. Follow these steps within the desktop version of the software;

1). Go to settings by clicking the cog button and selecting settings

2). Within settings click the Forwarding and blocked addresses option

3). Click Create a new filter

4). Assuming the subject line doe not change add it to the Subject field, example "Form submission from your site" Otherwise use the Includes the words line, entering suitable paragraph with remains constant

5). Click Create filter with this search

6). Check Never send it to Spam

7). Check Also apply filter if you wish to retrospectively apply the rule to old emails

8). Click Create filter and it is created
